Technical Animator - Summer Internship

Obsidian Entertainment is looking for a Technical Animator Intern to help make our next world-class role-playing game.

The Technical Animator Intern will help us develop believable characters and creatures to flesh out our game world. Canidates will work closely with the animation and gameplay teams to implement human, creature and robot animations. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, experience working with animators, and a strong aesthetic sense for what makes a compelling first-person experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with the animation and gameplay teams to implement character animations

Requirements

• Coursework in animation, rigging, and skinning, or similarly related education.
• Coursework in Unreal Engine animation systems
• A strong understanding of the fundamentals of animation
• Eagerness, openness, and commitment to learn and grow

Pluses

• A finished or prospective degree in a technical animation related field
• An online technical animation portfolio
