As Tech Lead at our company, you will be responsible for a wide range of activities that contribute to the successful development and delivery of our virtual reality game. In this role you will have the opportunity to use your extensive experience in game development, technical knowledge and leadership skills to guide and grow our team of talented developers.

• The annual base pay range for this role is between $105,000.00 and $180,000.00 CAD + benefits, + profit-sharing.

Call of Duties:

• Implementing game features and systems using Unity/C#.
• Managing and mentoring a team of engineers, helping them to meet their development goals and ensuring that quality and scheduling targets are met.
• Collaborating closely with designers and artists to bring the game's vision to life.
• Establishing and enforcing clear coding best practices and leading regular code reviews to ensure the quality and maintainability of the codebase.
• Participating in all phases of the project, from concept to maintenance.
• Creating and maintaining technical design documents.

Unlocked Abilities:

• Experience leading and managing engineering teams in the game development industry.
• Strong development experience in Unity
• Experience bringing multiple game titles to ship and beyond.
• Strong knowledge of software design techniques, performance, and memory constraints of game software.
• Experience working with Agile development methods.
• Experience with Git/Github
• Strong attention to detail and a desire to deliver high-quality, bug-free releases.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
