In this role, you are responsible for exploring new technology, solutions and tools which help the product improvement and business, while also keeping a reliable and stable service to our product and solve problem for our live- and new games or projects. It is a leadership role, which provide regular direction, mentoring and coaching to all engineers across studio. You are also responsible for performance stability and ensure the continuous evolving and knowledge sharing within the team.Responsibilities
- Provide reliable and stable service to current live games
- Provide technology solutions to improve the efficiency and reliability of current products
- Align studio wide tech stack including defining standards for technical designs to ensure the highest efficiency of team allocation
- Actively keep up with industry trends and provide recommendation to unlock new ways of entertainment which will lead to new business.
- Maintain the performance in the team: identify high performers and ensure their steady nature, identify the less performers and ensure their improvement
- Hire, develop, mentor and supervise all studio engineers,
- Ensure the availability and update technical documentation for all live games
- Organize knowledge and experience sharing within the team
Requirements
- University degree in the fields of Computer Science, Computer Engineering or comparable qualification
- 6+ years as full stack senior engineer and multiple projects of experience.
- Solid experience in managing groups of developers across multiple types of projects
- Architecture expert for frontend and backend for online mobile games.
- Passion for tech and curious on new tech
- Extensive programming skills used in a professional environment such as JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, node.js, Java,PHP and/or C#
- Profound knowledge and experience in system design and architecture
- Profound knowledge and experience with server, client and external module infrastructure is a plus
- Excellent leadership skills, able to motivate teams and individuals, encourage ownership, recognize good talent and drive for excellence
- Excellent communication skill und conflict management skill
- Excellent problem-solving skill
- Passion for games
- Fluent in written and spoken English
