Team Lead Technical Animator | Chef·fe d'équipe animateur·trice technique

As a Technical AnimatorTeam Lead on Dead by Daylight™, you will be responsible for leading the game technical animation production. You will work closely with the Animation Team Lead andProgrammer Team Leads to help and support delivering high quality and on-brand animations.

In this role you will :

• Closely work with the Animation Team Lead to help and support delivering high quality and on-brand animations;
• Lead a team of technicalanimators, andassist them in developing and maintaining best practices.
• Be a mentor for junior members of the team;
• Scope and plan future features;
• Stay up to date on the latest tools and practices in the industry;
• Champion the Technical Animation discipline.

What we're looking for :

• 5+ years of relevant experience;
• Excellent technical animation and/or animation skills;
• Experience managing and leading a team, delegating tasks, and distributing workload;
• Ability to adapt to Dead by Daylight’s style and propose ways to elevate it;
• Collaborative mindset, to participate in a transparent and learning culture within the team;
• Comfort in being a representative for Technical Animation in inter-departmental conversations, being the primary contact for technical animation questions, scoping new features;
• Expertise in Maya, Unreal and other graphic tools;
• Technical knowledge of animation
• Experience in a team oriented, product-focused environment. You enjoy collaboration and appreciate the exchange of ideas and concepts;
• Strong written and spoken skills;

Dans ce rôle vous devrez :

• Étroitement collaborer avec l’Animateur∙trice 3D chef∙fe d’équipe afin de coordonner et soutenir la production d’animations;
• Diriger une équipe d’animateurs∙trices techniques, et les aider à développer et maintenir les meilleures pratiques en termes d’animation technique.
• Agir à titre de mentor∙e auprès des membres plus juniors de l’équipe ;
• Planifier et délimiter la portée des nouveaux contenus;
• Rester à jour sur les derniers outils et pratiques dans l'industrie;
• Soutenir la discipline animation technique.

Ce que nous recherchons :

• Au moins 5 ans d’expérience pertinente ;
• Excellentes aptitudes en tech animation et/ou animation;
• Expérience en direction et gestion d’équipe, délégation de taches et redistribution du travail ;
• Capacité à s’adapter au style de Dead by Daylight et à suggérer des moyens de l'améliorer ;
• Esprit de collaboration favorisant la transparence et une culture de l’apprentissage au sein de l’équipe ;
• À l’aise d’être la personne ressource pour l’animation technique dans les discussions entre départements, les planifications de nouveaux contenus;
• Expertise avec Maya, Unreal, et autres outils graphiques ;
• Expérience au sein d’un environnement d’équipe axé sur le produit. Vous aimez la collaboration et appréciez le partage d’idées et de concepts ;
• Excellentes aptitudes pour la communication écrite et verbale ;

À titre d’Animateur∙trice technique chef∙fe d’équipe au sein de l’équipe Dead by Daylight™, vous serez responsable de diriger l’animations technique du jeu. Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec l’Animateur∙trice3Dchef∙fe d’équipe et les programmeur∙euse∙s chef∙fe d’équipe afin de supporter et soutenir des animations de qualité.
