The Lead Assembler performs repetitive assembly, rework, disassembly, test, and repair operations to support the manufacturing of Electronic Gaming Machine (EGM) builds and components.
This has been designated as a safety-sensitive job because it involves performing one or more tasks/duties that could reasonably affect the safety and health of the employee performing the task(s) or others.What you'll do
- Demonstrates ability to creating/improving detailed work instructions, processes and procedures for all stations in assigned area as well as train others. Collects and provides data as requested.
- Performs and trains multiple tasks in the assembly of slot machines up to and including final assembly.
- Participate and train in new product introduction including up to performing PV.
- Performs visual and functional checks/tests to ensure quality of work within function and previous steps is maintained at a high level.
- Performs and trains tests on completed items to ensure satisfactory performance.
- Report and correct any safety concerns and problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Manufacturing Leadership
- Demonstrates strong knowledge within D365
- Hold team accountable for all metrics.
- Performs other duties as assigned including, but not limited to; tear-down, material-handling, etc.
- Adheres, trains, and enforces to Aristocrat Technologies, Inc. employee handbook guidelines.

What we're looking for
- Requires High School diploma or equivalent
- 4+ year of electro-mechanical assembly & test experience
- 2+ Leadership experience preferred.
Skills
·Must be able to use and train standard hand tools and power tools such as socket wrenches, screwdrivers and nut drivers. Also able to enforce correct use.
·Ability to follow, provide, and train improvements on complex machine and component assembly instructions. Also able to enforce high quality expectations.
·Able to train and have advance familiarity with electronic circuits and components (AC/DC), and enforce standard industry workmanship practices.
·Able to train and have advance computer & electronics troubleshooting experience. Proficency with Microsoft Suite preferred.
·Ability to operate, train, and enforce correct use of testing equipment and take basic measurements.
·Ability to train, have Advance knowledge, and enforece the use of ESD practices, LEAN manufacturing and 5S+ techniques.
·As a skilled specialist, completes tasks in resourceful and effective ways, and develop others to acquire this skill.
·Ability to organize and train in a fast paced team work environment and can work independently as needed.
·Able to understand, follow, participate, create, train, and enforce ISO/Quality standards and audits.
·Must by a highly responsible and detail oriented individual with an understanding of, and sensitivity to, the regulatory implications of this position.
·Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions.
·Determines methods and procedures on new assignments. Is a team leader who works closely with the Supervisor.
·Able to perform and give assignments with no supervision.
·Able to train others and able to provide recommendations to resolve issues with reasonable judgement including creating new process and standards.
·Able to work with leadership to organize work assignments, identify and help resolve issues, enforce correct procedures, and provide training.
