Human Resources Business Partner (Contract)

As HR BP and an essential part of our Berlin People Team you will hold an important role for unlocking capacity within the team to focus on strategy and project deliverables. The Talent Partner will need to respond quickly to the many requests from Rioters and be comfortable monitoring deadlines. You will improve the workload of Rioters by looking for creative ways to make processes more efficient. You will be the guard of Rioter information and treat it in the strictest reliance.
You will be an important player in the full Rioter life-cycle, from a new hire to leaver and will balance all aspects of these stages with care and excellence. You will support Rioters and people managers on all HR and non HR related topics, making sure that they’re set up for success . You will build an attractive L&D offer and partner with external trainers to give our Rioters the best learning opportunities. Together with Berlin People Team you will focus on building a trustful, transparent and fair culture to support great people and an amazing product.
The Team:
As part of the Berlin People Team, you will report to the Senior HR Business Partner and join a small but impactful team of passionate creators who bring efficiency and processes, to make Riot Games Berlin the most attractive workplace.
Responsibilities:
- Performance Management:
- Managing the program change you will support Rioters and people managers in setting out and understanding expectations
- You will facilitate feedback training sessions that focus on positive reinforcement
- Track progression of PDPs and PIPs
- Learning and development
- Training administration
- Supporting facilitation ( liaison with trainers, room preparation )
- Influence the L&D strategy addressing the learning needs of our Rioters and the overall business strategy
- Collaborate with external trainers and coaches to provide the highest quality of delivery
- Provide general responses to email queries and desk questions
- Be a Rioter facing contact partner ready to support on multiple HR and non HR matters
- Help build a culture of trust,openness and transparency
- People Team invoice processing, setting up our vendors
- Participate in other People Team projects to find efficiencies and improvements
Required Qualifications:
- 3 or more years of work experience as an HR Manager or relevant role
- Fluency in English and in German
- BS in Human Resources or relevant field
- Knowledge of German labor law and labor processes
- Experience with HR software (HRIS, LMS) and Excel (or Google Sheets)
- Customer orientation focused on solutions
- Experience having a project ownership
- Specialist in topics like compensation, benefits, performance management, learning and development
