Summary of the Role
TCG Sales Planning Manager
The TCG (Trading Card Game) Sales Planning Manager will be responsible for interfacing with and keeping multiple areas of business operations moving forwards to maintain sales plans and goals. These teams include sales operations/ logistics, production, finance, customer service, legal and marketing.
This position will contribute to the overall achievement of TCG sales targets in various markets with detailed product placement plans related to market specific requirements, sales trends, customer purchase behavior and production capacity.
What You'll Do
- Partner with Account Managers/ Executives to manage product planning across multiple territories.
- Collaborate with other internal functions across the Bellevue and London offices to meet specific product requirements.
- Work with Production to ensure timely delivery of products to meet placement requirements.
- Providing product related information to sales and other teams through different reporting systems and ensuring that placement targets are met according to plan.
- Contribute to the formation of the annual departmental budget and annual plan.
- Collaborate with other sales team members on operational tasks, including leading cross-functional meeting, regular reporting, etc.
- Develop an understanding of operational and process issues that need troubleshooting, such as causes and effect.
- Complete various tasks that have not yet been automated. Work closely with various internal departments to ensure successful completion of products.
- Update and manage customer facing communications and internal coordination.
- Analyze data to understand issues and take corrective actions when needed, knowing when and how to escalate.
- The right candidate will be able to elegantly coordinate and balance requirements, resources, dependencies, dates, and more across multiple internal and external teams and at various levels of company seniority.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years in Sales, logistics, operations, project management or relevant experience.
- 2+ years managing a team either directly or in scope of project managing other teams to deliver Operational deliverables.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency and comfort with Excel, SharePoint, WorkFront, with ERP system and project planning software/tools is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to gain consensus among Stakeholders.
- Action and result oriented with solid organizational skills, attention to detail, drive, and resilience.
- Strong team player.
- Must possess solid organizational, meeting management, effective time management skills.
- Must be able to travel domestically and internationally
