The Systems Engineer, Gaming Technology Innovation is a strategically forward-looking role that drives the technology research and development initiatives of Aristocrat’s Global Technology business. We research, analyze, conceptualize, design, and integrate bleeding edge future solutions using emerging and existing market technologies spanning Aristocrat’s businesses from online video games, social casino games, game development kits, mobile apps, web platforms, digital displays, streaming technologies, machine learning and blockchain.
In this role you will work with and learn from a team of high caliber professionals from a wide range of backgrounds and disciplines (both onsite and remote) as a part of the best gaming research and development team in the industry. As a Systems Engineer, Gaming Technology Innovation, you will participate in or lead project and research support for:
- Technological research (technology mapping, landscaping, trend analysis, foresight …)
- Provide insights to develop new products, services and technologies
- Identify new applications and markets for existing products, services and technologies
- Solve complex technological problems in production processes
- Interact, educate, collaborate and problem solve with our R&D stakeholders and internal customers
- Define and build the processes and systematic methodologies that allow the continual improvement of productivity, quality, and innovation
- Participate in or lead projects to conceptualize, design, prototype, develop, test and integrate product and service solutions that advance the future of gaming using a wide breadth of skills including software development, mechanical / electrical engineering, creative design and product development
- Work collaboratively and support your teammate’s projects via requirements gathering/documentation, architecture, design, development, defect repair, deployment, and support
