Systems Designer

Our mission is to create the best family-friendly casual games in mobile and have a great time doing it! Our current games are played by over 25 million players each month and include Wordscapes, the #1 word game, and we’re looking to expand into something incredible.

Responsibilities

• Work with your team to design, prototype, drive, and configure the core gameplay systems like progression, combat, balance, itemization, and more…
• Refine and adapt systems based on feedback and playtesting
• Document and maintain system specifications and details
• Continually tune and balance systems based on internal and external feedback and data
• Communicate, collaborate, ideate, and work well with a highly engaged, interdisciplinary team comprised of local, on-site, and remote team members.
• Be flexible, detail oriented and focused, and an outstanding communicator.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 3+ years designing high impact systems for PC, console, or mobile games
• Ability to thrive in an iterative environment and solve new challenges every day
• Advanced expertise inventing, designing, and iterating on systems and balance
• Enjoys working in a highly collaborative, quickly evolving team environment
• Positive attitude and ability to receive and provide objective and constructive feedback
• Motivated and passionate about mobile games.

Preferred

• Comprehensive understanding of free-to-play game systems, balance, and mechanics
