Systems Designer

Are you a designer looking for a new challenge and ready to break new ground for what will become the new norm of mobile gaming? We’re looking for a Systems Designer to join our ambitious and fun-loving team at Dazzle Rocks.

As a Systems Designer at Dazzle Rocks you will design and puzzle together systems that support the game vision and provide a cohesive and fun player experience. You will be responsible for designing the core game experience and progression among many other topics. Day to day you will be working closely with our product and game development teams to conceptualize and implement your designs in game and you’re comfortable working with Unity.

You have a knack for presenting complex systems in a simple format. Your curiosity and robust knowledge and background in F2P games enables you to think outside the box and you actively seek and welcome feedback to iterate your designs. As a team player you’re able to convey your ideas coherently and enjoy collaborating with team members from a variety of disciplines. The team can always depend on you and find you easily approachable.

Responsibilities

• Design and puzzle together systems that support the vision of our social sandbox MMO and provide a cohesive player experience
• Collaborate with cross-functional feature teams to bring your designs in game
• Communicate design objectives, specs, components and features for implementation
• Collaborate with development team to prioritise, plan and scope feature implementation
• Identify new opportunities to bring value to our players by analyzing the market and gathering feedback

Qualifications

• Previous experience from designing F2P mobile games
• Previous experience from designing multiplayer and/or sandbox games
• Basic ability to work in Unity (no coding required)
• Excellent ability to break down and present complex models in digestible formats
• Proactive communicator and ability to work in cross functional teams
• Efficient
• Organized and passion for clear & concise documentation
• Ability to think outside the box and find creative solutions
• Strong knowledge and willingness to always know more about the market
• Dependable and easily approachable
