Your Mission
The Activision Player Support team has an exciting new opportunity for a System Architect I. This role will address an integral role in our growing internal development and support technology team. You will be involved in the development and implementation strategy of internal and cloud-base systems. This person will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and operating these systems.
The Systems Architect I is a part of a dynamic, fun, and highly collaborative environment where they will be involved in helping to lead project implementation, system development, and any related training efforts; Serving as a key technical role in crafting system solutions to support web production, and our ever-growing support business. You’ll work on a variety of technical projects collaborating with team members throughout our global organization as-well as help convert abstract business ideas into technical architectures, designs, and implementations.
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Responsible for systems architecture, data management and integration design across Player Support’s systems, tools and suite of applications
- Operate as authority on end to end integrations across and between any platform hybrid (cloud and on-premise), Cloud-to-cloud, public/private cloud, on-premise
- Design and architecture of private and public cloud infrastructure
- Develop and deploy applications using organization's technology best practices, standards and procedures
- Build and Maintain enterprise level architecture diagrams
- Participate in discovery, requirements collecting, architecture design, detailed design and data mapping
- Participate in the design of firewall and network security
- Conduct audits on implemented systems infrastructure and architecture to ensure processes and systems run nominally, while remaining secure and meeting data compliance regulations
- Convert business designs into functional real-world applications
- Identify gaps between current and desired future states
- Work in an agile, rapid development and prototyping environment
- Evaluation of new software and hardware technologies in collaboration with vendors and partners
Player Profile
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years' experience with Enterprise architecture and integration
- 3+ years' Experience with building enterprise-class systems and integrations with consideration to stability, excess, and security practices
- 2+ years' experience working within a cloud based environment while integrating with cloud based or legacy on premise solutions.
- Shown enterprise architecture documentation skills
Extra Points:
- 2+ years directly involved with Adobe Experience Manager development (AEM 6.0/6.2/6.3)
- GCP/GCS, Mulesoft, Salesforce experience a plus
- Experience working with third party services, APIs, and content management systems
- Demonstrable understanding of how to establish short-term, mid-term and long-range architecture plans
