Supplier Quality ManagerSummary
You will be responsible for establishing key quality processes, procedures, standards, etc. throughout the life-cycle of Aristocrat products, from design & development, to our suppliers, to our customers. This includes defining & implementing effective, high-results oriented Quality tools and methods, data reporting and analysis. The role will assist in continuously improving Aristocrat products and performance. The quality professional in this position will communicate and interact with teams and leadership at all levels of the organization and within the Supply Chain.What you'll do
- Institutionalizing long term strategic Supplier quality improvement planning
- Problem-Solving & Root Cause Analysis for quality issues arising at Incoming, Production, Install and Field by working with cross-functional teams e.g. Production, Manufacturing Engineering, R&D, Field Service
- Standardizing Design & Supplier Quality processes and procedures e.g. monthly quality dashboard review with critical suppliers to address issues to prevent recurrence
- Manage field quality improvement programs to identify opportunities to reduce CONQ by working with cross functional teams e.g. Field Service, Engineering and suppliers
- Conduct Supplier QMS audits/assessments on critical suppliers to ensure suppliers are meeting Aristocrat SQA requirements and identify opportunities for improvements
- Identify and address quality issues during NPI to ensure smooth roll out of mass production
- Being the subject matter expert in eQMS
- Frequent Domestic and International travel up to 30% Required. - Must be open and willing to travel to Domestic & International locations
What we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronic Technology/Design, Quality, or related field or experience with
- 5 + years of experience in similar supplier quality management.
- Demonstrable skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Must have strong communication skills, be able to work independently and be team oriented.
- Broad knowledge of Design & Development and Supply Chain business functions and processes.
Advantageous
- Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, ASQ-Certified Quality Engineer, Lean Manufacturing Certification, ISO Lead Auditor, Design Quality Engineering experience.
- Working History/Familiarity with electronic design, product manufacturing and associated special processes.
- Experience in working with suppliers particularly Asia-based suppliers, and ability to communicate in Cantonese or Mandarin would be a bonus.
