The Challenge
Take-Two’s Summer Internship Program is designed to provide students with an opportunity to gain substantive, first-hand business insight over the course of a three-month paid internship. Interns will gain hands-on exposure in the area(s) of their desired interests as well as participate in team-based summer-long projects. Our internships are created with the intent that students walk away with meaningful learning experiences that enhance both their personal and professional development goals. T2's Internship Program also serves as a gateway to building a talent pool of rising stars for permanent roles.
As a member of the highly-visible Corporate Development & Strategy group, you will be working within a dynamic team that is focused on guiding the future of the company. Within this fast-paced and exciting environment you will be involved in a diverse set of projects which will range from macro overviews of our industry, including its participants and emerging technologies, to analyses of acquisition and investment opportunities. Throughout the internship you will develop a deep awareness of the gaming landscape as well as an M&A mindset that are applicable to multiple career paths.
What You’ll Take On
Objectives and responsibilities include:
- Conducting original research on market participants and their gaming products/Ips; tracking potential acquisition and venture investment opportunities; evaluating potential transactions in the marketplace (PC/console, mobile, and emerging gaming sectors/ technologies).
- Completing in-depth analysis related to corporate strategy and emerging themes throughout the industry such as eSports, F2P gaming, and others; assisting with sourcing related opportunities.
- Assisting with developing financial models to support various analyses, including but not limited to potential acquisitions and investments.
What You Bring
We are looking for candidates who are passionate about the gaming space, independent problem solvers, and who have the ability to quickly learn and extrapolate their skillsets to new opportunities and challenges. The role is open to college students beginning within their sophomore year. Candidates should have a strong quantitative background. Analytical and spreadsheet modeling skills in Excel, as well as basic financial and accounting knowledge, are highly recommended.
