Stylized 3D Props Artist (Senior)

Seedworld Studios is seeking a talented Stylized 3D Props Artist to be part of our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a creative individual who excels in the art of bringing fantastical elements to life through stylized 3D props. The successful candidate will possess a strong artistic vision, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating engaging, stylized environments that captivate and enchant our audiences.

Collaborate with the Art Director and design team to conceptualize and create stylized 3D props that align with Seedworld Studios' unique aesthetic and creative vision.

Design and model high-quality, stylized 3D props for use in our games and animations, ensuring consistency with the project's overall style and themes.

Apply innovative texturing and shading techniques to enhance the visual impact of props, employing both hand-painted textures and procedural methods as appropriate.

Work closely with the environmental and character teams to ensure props integrate seamlessly into the world, enhancing both the narrative and visual storytelling.

Optimize models for performance, ensuring they meet technical requirements without compromising artistic integrity.

Participate in regular art reviews, providing constructive feedback and iterating on designs to achieve the best possible results.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of the props library, organizing and documenting assets efficiently.

Bachelor's degree in Art, Design, Computer Graphics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Proven experience as a 3D Artist, with a strong portfolio showcasing stylized props and environments.

Expertise in 3D modeling and texturing software such as Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max, and proficiency in Adobe Photoshop or Substance Painter.

Good understanding of form, shape, structure, and silhouette in regard to modeling.

Ability to adapt to and innovate within Seedworld Studios' distinctive art style.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, creative environment.

Passion for gaming and animation, with a keen interest in contributing to the development of unique, stylized worlds.
