Student Worker, Asset Pipeline Team

In Core Copenhagen, we are looking for a student worker to work in the Asset Pipeline team. This team develops one of the most critical systems in the Unity infrastructure. The import pipeline is responsible for transforming a large amount of assets in a scalable way. The imported assets are used in the editor, in player builds and through livelink. Our solutions employ a mix of various techniques, such as multi-level caching, lazy evaluation, parallel execution, and adaptive scheduling .

As a student, you would have the opportunity to work with very skilled software engineers, get to know a large codebase and be a part of a great workplace with highly talented people. We look for student workers who are curious, want to learn and make an impact.

Responsibilities

• Help with evaluating and fixing bugs
• Write automated tests for features and bug fixes
• You may also have the opportunity to take part in the design and development of both small features and large systems

Requirements

• You are currently studying at University in a relevant field
• Problem-solving skills
• Programming skills in C++ (C# is a bonus)
• Strong collaboration and communication skills (English is our primary language)
• Strong self-learning ability, ability to adapt and quickly grasp new knowledge

• Hobby projects
