As the Strategic Talent Consultant you will play a critical role in the effective management and operational success of the recruitment and people function. You will partner with business leaders and internal stakeholders to advise and ensure the organisational structure and recruitment functions support the company's growth and operational plans.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Consult with management and executives to ensure the efficiency of processes, systems and business operations
- Analyse and evaluate processes in relation to recruitment, organisational structure, people management and other human resources functions
- Support executives and management with reviewing organisational design structures and advise on necessary hiring plans to support the company growth
- Partner and consult with management across all business units to ensure effective hiring plans are in place to support timely project delivery
- Define and advise on job functions and team structures to support company growth
- Oversee the maintenance and improvements of systems and communicate progress updates with the wider business
- Educate the business on diversity and inclusion shortcomings and make recommendations on ways to build an inclusive business culture
- Effectively manage a team of people to ensure operational and recruitment activities are performed seamlessly
- Plan and implement relevant change across the organisation
You’ll have:
- 7+ years of experience working in an in-house Talent Acquisition or Human Resources team
- 1 + years of experience leading a team within recruitment or Human Resource function
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business, Human Resources or related field
- An ability to take a consultative approach and communicate effectively with business leaders
- A data-driven approach to recruitment and human resource management
- An ability to pivot between strategic and operational tasks
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations relevant to talent acquisition and human resources
Some extra skills that would be awesome:
- Experience developing and implementing People Strategies within a start-up environment
