About the Role
The Strategic Account Manager for the Partnerships team guides the ongoing success of strategic Partnerships on Twitch. Your role is to be the one source of truth for your partner's identified needs and ensure coordination is always a priority. Your role's primary responsibility will be to establish relationships with our top creators. Identifying, tracking, and addressing important goals for partners will be a part of your daily routine in our CRM.
The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) is a part of the Content Partnerships team and works with the Twitch Marketing, Sales, Business Operations, Legal, Finance, and Developer Success teams. You will report to the Director of Strategic Partnerships.
This position can be located in Los Angeles, CA, Irvine, CA, or San Francisco, CA.
You Will:
- Be the primary contact at Twitch for a cohort of our most visible Partners
- Work closely with the teams responsible for Acquisition to assess the viability and serviceability of deal terms that are included in Content License Agreements
- Oversee all post signing obligations for Partners on custom agreements
- Work with Twitch's legal team to amend existing agreements
- Work with the Content Finance team to forecast and assess content opportunities
- Report important data to your cohort of Partners and internal stakeholders
- Identify emerging content opportunities and build growth strategies to make the most of their momentum
- Work with Product teams to identify new products that add value and audience to the Partners' content on Twitch
You Have:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent qualification
- 3+ years of strategic account management or other relevant client relations experience in digital video or other entertainment industries
- Project management experience
- Experience using a CRM (Salesforce, Zendesk, Zoho)
- Deep understanding of the digital creator ecosystem
- Intimate knowledge of Twitch and its monetization products

- Existing professional relationships with user-generated content creators, game developers, & entertainment companies
- Deal negotiation experience
- Experience engaging at an executive level with external parties
- Proficiency with a CRM (Salesforce, Zendesk, Zoho)
- Proficiency in a either Google Sheets or Excel
