Staff QA Analyst

Our products have been downloaded over 325 million times by players around the world. Most recently, we’ve launched Episode, a mobile storytelling network and platform, and War Dragons, a visually stunning 3D real-time strategy game.

As a Staff QA Analyst on our Quality Assurance team, you will be responsible for testing War Dragons. You will work with team leadership to develop test plans for game features and content, and with the game team to give feedback on ongoing designs and development. As an experienced analyst, you will be an integral part of helping the QA department evolve and improve processes and testing methodologies.

Please note that this is for a Full Time position.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop test plans and test strategies for game features and content
• Write tickets for bugs discovered
• Work with engineers, designers, and artists while features are still being concepted to ensure healthy designs that simplify testing
• Engage with an offshore QA team to ensure testing is conducted at a high quality
• Drive process improvements that will have both game and QA department wide impact

What You Bring to the QA Team:

• At least 5 years game/software development in a Quality Assurance role
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
• Effective team leadership and mentoring qualities
• Strong communication skills
• Persistence and proactivity
• Experience creating some automation, tools, etc. using a scripting language (Python, Visual Basic, etc.)

Extra Gems for:

• Mobile app development/testing experience in a live games as a service environment
• Experience with engaging, directing, and mentoring offshore QA teams
