Sr. Manager, HR Business Partner

POSITION SUMMARY

The HR team is looking for a Sr. Manager, HR Business Partner to join our team! Our HR team needs a passionate, dynamic and highly motivated Sr. Manager, HR Business Partner who will execute our strategies across multiple HR disciplines that will meet the needs of our growing business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop a strong understanding of Bandai Namco Entertainment culture and communicate to candidates highlights of working for BNEA
• Anticipate training & development needs, developing plans & programs, partner with L&D stakeholders accordingly
• Coach managers in appropriate people management best practices, i.e., performance management, discipline, reward & recognition, and exit strategies
• Partner with leaders in proactive management of compensation packages
• Apply highly effective analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to analyze financial, operational and workforce data, understand trends and develop systemic recommendations for action using analytic
• Act as a resource for strategic support on all HR related initiatives and operational efficiencies
• Proactively analyze and identify complex people issues and trends and recommend appropriate actions
• Act as a change agent related to any people related initiatives
• Work with other HR team members to drive the overall HR strategy for the company
• Support the business needs in the areas such as; staffing and career and leadership development, compensation, employee development, talent management, organization design.
• Help build and maintain employee culture and morale
• Partner with business leaders to create high performing organizations with a focus on employee engagement and team effectiveness
• Play a crucial role in creating and maintaining the strategic direction of the people side of the company and will work closely with business leaders
• Inspire trust through confidence, poise, respect for others and a commitment to inclusion and fairness in alignment with our core values

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a strategic Human Resources role relative to a high-volume environment
• 2+ years of experience managing/leading a team
• 2+ years of experience driving company-wide initiatives and working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders
• BA/BS degree or equivalent
• Strong coaching, conflict resolution, relationship and team building skills, and demonstrated the ability to influence
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles
• Strong ability to coach and/or counsel others
• Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws and standards
• Experience working in a startup environment a plus
• Ideal candidate will have experience working within the tech or video game industry
• Attentive to detail and well-organized; ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth startup
• Experience with Greenhouse or other ATS highly desirable
