Job Title: (Sr.) Manager, HR Business Partner
Reporting To: Vice President, HR
Department: HR
Location: Foster City, CA
Your Mission
Provide Human Resources leadership across all HR functions (compensation & benefits, employee relations, employee engagement, organizational design and change, communications, performance management, career development) to the studio.
- Partner with leadership to identify Studio’s needs, and build HR strategies to support those needs, including identifying most effective organization structure, organization and individual’s capability needs and resource needs, employee retention and engagement
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure the studio is being proactive on engaging and retaining the Studio's talent
- Identify capability gaps, areas for training & development and provide recommendations/resources
- Manage performance management process, including training to managers on an as needed basis
- Provide analysis and recommendations for organizational change, help set direction and provide appropriate resources
- Monitor and ensure company compliance with changing employment laws
- Partner closely with talent acquisition to develop and execute recruitment strategies for key talent
- Facilitate employee inductions and onboarding
- Coaching managers on employee relations matters
- Collaborate with leadership to work on global initiatives
- Manage one HR Coordinator and provide guidance on projects
- Manage other special projects on an as needed basis
Player Profile
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Previous experience successfully operating as a strategic HR professional and business partner
- 5 to 7 years in progressively responsible HR roles, preferably in a high-tech and creative environment; entertainment industry is a plus
- Strong conflict resolution, influencing, decision making, and communication skills
- Creative, resourceful problem-solver
- Self-starter, highly motivated and achievement orientated
- Proven success utilizing employee attraction, engagement, and retention strategies
- A strong ability to influence people and decisions
- Ability to excel in an ever-changing environment
- Proactive and a problem-solving orientation
