Sr. Internal Communications Manager

What You'll Do

The Sr. Internal Communications Manager will play a key role in helping build our Real Money Gaming organization, keeping employees informed, connected and engaged as we grow and in building our brand and employee value proposition. Working closely with our People & Culture team, you’ll get to build content designed to attract and retain top talent, support and lead internal people campaigns and initiatives, manage social networks, drive change communications and amplify our culture.

This role will also be responsible for managing employee engagement events and creating robust global employee programs that keep colleagues connected and informed, regardless of their physical location. This role requires a self-starter with a track record of effective and innovative internal communications and employee relations strategies. This role forms part of Aristocrat’s global Corporate Affairs team and will be connected to other communicators and thought leaders from across our Group, Pixel United and Global Gaming organizations.

What We're Looking For

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Work closely with senior executives to establish organizational messages and keep staff well informed across the Real Money Gaming organization
• Act as steward of the new Real Money Gaming brand (currently in development), including accountability for brand management, refreshes and reviews, and also be accountable for major internal and external communication channels such as websites, town halls and intranet
• Design and execute the internal communications strategy for the Real Money gaming organization
• Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums
• Lead the Real Money Gaming podcast channel ensuring regular content that informs and engages
• Plan, organize and lead town halls including executive preparation, content development and run of show
• Assist with communications issues management, where required
• Design and execute internal employee events to promote engagement across the organization
• Work with cross-functional partners across the organization to help them create compelling and engaging communications
• Manage the Real Money Gaming internal communications calendar and ensure effective prioritization where necessary
• Drive continuous improvement including new communications channels, processes and experiences over time.
• Set benchmarks / analytics targets to ensure improvements in core communications processes over time.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced and diverse start-up environment, with initiative and flexibility

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of applicable experience in internal communications and employee relations
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing or equivalent
• Excellent ability to craft narrative, including strong writing and editing skills
• Ability to communicate effectively to different audiences, including geographically and culturally diverse teams
• Strong speaking and presentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building and influencing skills
• Self-starter with strong personal accountability, aptitude for working flexibly and delivering to deadlines
