Job Description
You will be responsible for TRC standards testing for Sony consoles. You will provide direct support to the production teams during pre-production and follow up with the Quality Control (QC) team leaders and their testing team. You will prepare the tests to be done, distribute the daily work to the testers of your team and supervise them, in order to ensure that the final product is of optimal quality and on time.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for TRC standards testing for Sony consoles. You will provide direct support to the production teams during pre-production and follow up with the Quality Control (QC) team leaders and their testing team. You will prepare the tests to be done, distribute the daily work to the testers of your team and supervise them, in order to ensure that the final product is of optimal quality and on time.
Responsibilities
- Disseminate project and testing goals, strategies and overall information to all team members to provide visibility into the progress of game development and testing;
- Methodically verify each TRC standard;
- Keep the team up to date on the latest changes in TRC procedures/rules and advise production teams on their use;
- Review, analyze and verify manufacturer's feedback reports;
- Proactively identify and implement test process improvement initiatives and foster collaboration between QC team leaders in Montreal and other external studios;
- Perform a post-project post-mortem in collaboration with your immediate supervisor and your work team;
- Ensure the development and improvement of your employees to ensure the achievement of objectives and the realization of their full potential.
Qualifications
- Quality control and management experience, or other comparable experience;
- Experience in the video game industry is an asset;
- Strong proactive management skills while demonstrating leadership;
- In-depth knowledge of Sony CRT standards;
- Knowledge of the Windows environment and Microsoft Office Suite;
- Good interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
