We are looking for a software engineer who has a passion for games. You love games and you love code. You will bring fun, engaging, monetizing game experiences to life with empathy for players and close coordination with designers. The successful candidate will be eager to learn and grow alongside our rapidly evolving studio and games.
This is a full-time, remote position.
A Software Engineer’s impact:
- Work with designers and engineers to help deliver game features
- Contribute to discussions with art and design teams to shape the game and the code
- Take charge on improving our development processes and system architecture
- Improve the software development life-cycle through tools and automation
- Scope and define project requirements
- Optimize performance for mobile platforms
Your track record includes:
- At least 3 years of experience working as a software engineer using Unity or another game engine
- At least one shipped title or demonstrated history of delivering features to a live service game
- Experience gathering functional requirements, developing technical specifications, and creating project plans
- Delivering content in an efficient and timely manner through the Addressable asset system is a plus
- Backend experience is a plus
$60,000 - $80,000 CAD per year.
This base salary range is specific to candidates located in British Columbia. The salary offered to the successful candidate will be determined based on factors including but not limited to skills, experience, education, qualifications, and location.
