Software Engineer Student Worker, Test Platform

The opportunity
In Core Copenhagen, we are looking for a student worker to work in the Test Platform team. Our team is composed of four software developers working together and collaborating tightly with R&D, we focus on enabling all developers to verify the quality of their code efficiently through test automation, which is a significant part of the development cycle, we want to ensure that tests are easy to build, run efficiently and report accurate errors.
As a student, you would have the opportunity to work with very skilled software engineers, learn to collaborate with different teams, help develop our CI tools and work on package development at a high complexity level due to the multi-platform nature of Unity. You will be improving the efficiency and performance of our tools to provide an even better experience to our developers in delivering reliable and quality code, thus improving the overall quality of Unity.

This role will involve working 15 - 20 hours per week and the hours are flexible around your studies.

What you’ll be doing
- Take part in decisions and designs during development
- Help develop new features
- Improving our package performance and usability
- Identifying and fixing bugs
What we’re looking for
- You are currently studying Computer Science, Game Development or a related subject at university
- Experience with an OOP language
- Good problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English
- Distinct self-learning ability, ability to adapt and quickly grasp new knowledge
You might also have
- Experience with C# and using Unity
- Basic debugging knowledge
- Experience Testing Frameworks
- Some experience with CI automation
