The World of Warcraft mobile team is looking for a software engineer to take our existing Companion App build pipeline to the next level. While your primary focus will be on improving the build process, the World of Warcraft mobile team is a small, self-driven team, and as such, we're looking for a generalist keen on wearing several hats. We don't expect candidates to be experts in all areas; if you're a quick learner that can latch onto an idea and run it to completion, we'd love to see your application.

What you will do…
- Improve the mobile build pipeline, with an eye towards build stability and speed
- Work in Unity post-processing to set up native Android/iOS build steps
- Manage the submission and release pipeline to configure servers and organize data delivery
- Debug and resolve issues in the pipelines to ensure builds are always available to the teams that need them
- Stay ahead of operating system releases to ensure that the app stays compatible
- Maintain collaborative connections with developers, SREs, QA, and other partner teams
- Participate in and contribute to a culture of inclusion and diversity
To succeed, you must have…
- Awareness of common build challenges and how to overcome them
- Experience managing and/or improving build pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, Incredibuild)
- Familiarity with a build scripting language (e.g. Python, perl)
- Capable of working closely with designers and fellow programmers
We’re also interested in hearing about…
- Familiarity with game or mobile development tools, asset pipelines, and workflows
- iOS/Android build and/or development experience
- Programming experience in C++ and/or C#
- Experience with Unity
- DevOps/SRE experience
