Software Engineer Intern

We are looking for a Software Engineer intern to join our Advertiser APIs team. Our team creates a set of REST APIs that give our customers more flexibility in configuring their ad campaigns. You will be working on implementing new APIs and providing tooling around them with the support of the team. We also collaborate closely with the other backend teams in integrating the new APIs seamlessly with the existing infrastructure. Your work will have a significant impact on our customers by providing a new way of interacting with our platform, as our public APIs allow a more efficient way for customers to leverage the Unity monetization network.

Our technology stack is built to create solid products that allow us to operate in a high-volume Monetization network and includes Node.js, React, NATS, Kafka and many others selected to fit for purpose. Stability, quality, and robustness of code are requirements in our development environment. Our teams take responsibility in designing and developing solutions that enable us to scale towards the future and meet our customer requirements. We also use the model of continuous deployment with multiple deployments to production per day to enable us to move fast with small iterations and leverage our data.

This is an 4-6 month paid internship starting in summer 2021

Responsibilities

• Implement a consistent set of APIs for public use
• Develop existing back end services
• Utilize unit and integration tests to ensure high-quality delivery
• Ensure service scalability and reliability through effective code and data storage design

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with full-stack JavaScript and TypeScript development
• Basic understanding of distributed systems
• Basic understanding of different data storage engines (SQL, NoSQL, key-value -stores)
• Experience with test-driven development practices
• You have to be currently enrolled into respected University

Bonus Points

• Experience in React web app development
• Experience in Google Cloud Platform
