Opportunity Ahead

EA Hyderabad has an opportunity for a Software Engineer III. As a SE3, you will use your creativity and eye for design – along with your technical knowledge – to develop great experiences. You'll work with a visual designer (UX), product manager and our development team. Together you'll deliver UI mockups, prototypes, MVPs, and final products. EA’s network of games caters to tens of millions of monthly active users. You'll build UI applications that enables advisors to reviewing reported user generated content. What Would You Do

● Demonstrate excellent teamwork skills, with experience working with agile teams. You can work and collaboratively with developers, copywriters, and UX designers.

● Transform UX designs into tangible code, maintaining styling guidelines and utilizing EA's design thinking principles combined with your own.

● Collaborate with distributed teams and deliver amazing experiences to the players.

● You will guide technical knowledge among team members by mentoring

● You will provide accurate estimates on deliverables for yourself and help the team on the same

● Identify and mitigate technology risks during early stages of development

● You will review design & code for adherence to UI principles, security compliance and coding standards.

● Institutionalise & promote UI best practices across teams. Keep yourself and the team updated with the latest industry changes’ standards.

● Identify the right choice of tools for solving the problem to minimize time, money and maximise efficiency

Must have Skills.

● Bachelor of Technology or Engineering from a reputed institute

● 8+ years of experience in UI technologies with an experience delivering, responsive but easy to use user interface built using UI frameworks React Js/ Angular

● Experience with Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use

● Command & understanding of HTML5 & CSS3

● Expert JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Ajax coding skills, and JavaScript async patterns (closures, callbacks, promises, and error handling)

● Experience integrating UI with backend REST & gRPC services.

● Experience in deliver user experiences across many web-enabled devices and multiple browsers.

● Understand about AUTHn/z flows like OAuth, JWT

● Experience use of tools of the trade like Figma, Sketch, Invision, Photoshop, Marvel, and Overflow

● Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM

● Experience building & deploying front-end CI/CD pipelines.

● Experience working in an Agile/scrum development process.

● Superb ability to take high-level direction, and drive to execution an iterative model.

● Superb ability to translate our requirements into technical design & architecture.

● Experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and other partners.

● Technology enthusiast, always on the lookout for the latest and greatest tools for solving problems.

Desired Skills

● Experience hosting & deploying UI artifacts.
