Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Software Engineer II in Los Angeles, CA to design, develop, implement, test, and maintain the company shared code base for commerce and gaming applications, enhancements, and components. Requires a Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent and one (1) year of experience in analyzing the viability of implementing advanced technical features and complex report functionalities. Prior experience must include one (1) year of utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript and frameworks including React to create customer facing applications; optimizing performance of applications by using cutting edge technologies; utilizing SQL, JIRA, and Visual Basic to create dashboards and macros, and assist the application development; writing automation test scripts to ensure 100% code automation; working on Agile methodology for software development process and having a great understanding of the scrum processes; creating internal tools and frameworks for expanding company product lines; optimizing work flow within the organization; and gathering business requirements for application development.
