EA Hyderabad has an opportunity for a Software Engineer II. As a SE2 , y ou will use your creativity and eye for design – along with your technical knowledge – to develop great experiences. You'll work with a visual designer (UX), product manager and our development team. Together you'll deliver UI mockups, prototypes, MVPs, and final products. EA’s network of games caters to tens of millions of monthly active users. You'll have the opportunity to build sophisticated UI applications that enable advisors to review reported user generated content. What Would You Do

• Demonstrate excellent teamwork skills, particularly with experience in working with agile teams. You should have the ability to work closely and collaboratively with developers, copywriters, and UX designers.
• Transform UX designs into tangible code, maintaining consistent styling guidelines and utilizing EA's design thinking principles combined with your own creative instincts.
• Collaborate with distributed cross functional teams and deliver amazing experiences to the players.
• Drive technical excellence amongst team members by coaching and mentoring
• Provide accurate estimates on deliverables for yourself and help the team on the same
• Identify and mitigate technology risks during early stages of development
• Review design & code for adherence to UI principles, security compliance and coding standards.
• Institutionalize & evangelize UI best practices across teams. Continually keep yourself and the team updated with the latest changes in the industry’s standards.
• Identify the right choice of tools & technologies for solving the problem to minimize time, money and maximize efficiency

Must have Skills

• Bachelor of Technology or Engineering from a reputed institute
• 4+ years of experience in UI technologies with a proven experience of delivering sophisticated, responsive but easy to use user interface built using UI frameworks React Js/ Angular
• Proven track record of Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Strong command & understanding of HTML5 & CSS3
• Expert JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Ajax coding skills, and JavaScript async patterns (closures, callbacks, promises, error handling, etc.)
• Experience in integrating UI with backend REST & gRPC services.
• Experience in delivering consistent user experiences across a wide range of web-enabled devices and various browsers.
• Experience using tools of the trade like Figma, Sketch, Invision, Photoshop, Marvel, and Overflow
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM
• Experience working in an agile/scrum development process.
• Excellent Troubleshooting & root cause analysis skills
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively.
• Technology enthusiast, always on the lookout for the latest and greatest tools and technologies for solving problems.

Highly Desired Skills

• Strong understanding about AUTHn/z flows like OAuth, JWT etc.
• Experience with AWS
• Experience in hosting & deploying UI artifacts
