Social Media Specialist

Kano is looking for a Social Media lead to amplify the story of our products, community and company. The social media specialist will utilise most major social platforms as well as emailing (Adestra) to manage ad campaigns, engagements, and content to promote and convert both our consumer and EDU categories.

You will combine an ability to create compelling, outstanding, concise organic content and copy plus utilise the tools available (Hootsuite, GDN, Facebook Ads) across social platforms to dramatically improve our ROI on advertising.

Using our award winning products, fresh content from our Creative team, and the growing UGC on world.kano.me, you will develop content that matches the confident, challenging, and fun tone of Kano.

You will be empowered to unleash the Kano brand across all social platforms and take Kano on its next evolutionary step – to provide the best creative and computing tools for kids of all ages, and eventually, everyone.

Description of role

• Build upon Kano paid social campaigns to deliver exceptional, profitable CAC, and customer experience.
• Optimise the data and advertising tools of FB, Google, YouTube, Instagram and Twitter. Partner with data and ops teams internally to streamline daily performance reporting.
• Produce and iterate upon excellent copy to speak the language of our user - parents, teachers, and creative learners.
• Drive customers to our D2C home (Kano.me) and our major channel partners such as Best Buy & Microsoft.
• Having a true passion for learning and growth. This role serves as a central voice in engaging with our active community.

Requirements

• Experience driving conversion & awareness campaigns in paid/organic social campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, and TikTok (each additional platform is a plus).
• Good working knowledge of the platforms Self-Serve tools ( eg Facebook Ad Manager)
• Excellent copywriting skills, and the ability to let your voice be heard in customer engagement. We are a unique company with a lot to say!

• Work comfortably and successfully as part of a highly talented, thoughtful cross-functional team
