Social Media Manager (M/F/X)

Popcore creates beautiful, oddly satisfying hyper-casual games, like our number 1 game Parking Jam! Based at our Berlin HQ, our teams have developed and released chart-topping games that have been downloaded more than 300 million times across iOS and Android.

Proudly backed by EQT Ventures, Makers Fund and David Helgason, we are going through an exciting time of expansion. We are now looking for a Social Media Manager to join our talented marketing team. We are looking for a social media guru who loves nothing better than to tweet, hashtag and tik tok their way to grab the audience’s attention in seconds and keep them gripped with engaging content. A dab hand in copywriting would also be required.

What you will do:

• Be responsible for the planning, production, and day-to-day management of the social media content plan
• Use a range of social media tools and analytics to gain insight and understanding into how our content performs and what our audience thinks and likes
• Work with Marketing Lead to align our social media with our brand pillars
• Be a brilliant copywriter and digital native, creating social media content to achieve both reach and engagement
• Build ongoing relationships with highly engaged core communities, to allow for direct player feedback and engagement with the company on existing and new titles
• Be willing to still be hands-on as well as working on a more strategic level

What we are looking for:

• 3+ years experience running social media channels in gaming, media or entertainment
• Experience planning, creating and managing content and campaigns across Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok and LinkedIn
• Demonstrable experience with reporting, analysis, interpreting data and making assumptions
• Good understanding of the content production process, an eye for creative and copywriting skills
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
