Social Media Community Manager

PerBlue is looking for a passionate Social Media Community Manager to join our team of video game professionals. We’re a growing independent studio whose free-to-play midcore mobile games are being played by millions of people around the world, including the award-winning Disney Heroes: Battle Mode . Our team brings experience from major studios across the videogame industry to our headquarters in Madison, Wisconsin for an unmatched quality of life and work.
You’ll help to create amazing experiences for our mobile game players around the world by leading our team of community support agents, representing our fans’ collective voices to the rest of our studio. This vital position will be the caretaker of our respectful collaboration and reputation for fast service with both individual players and the collective fan bases for our games.
Principal responsibilities
You’ll work across our marketing and community teams to plan and post content for our different social channels including Facebook, Twitter, Discord, and more. You’ll also play a key role in keeping a pulse on our game communities and responding accordingly to their needs.
Your experience
- One (1) year of professional experience in social media content creation and management
- Experience creating messaging plans and communication materials then monitoring responses
- Planning and executing on a content calendar that meets the needs of an existing community and our business goals
- Collaborating with multiple teams to prioritize their requests and turn it into a content strategy
- Creating a growing and passionate community
- Identify the latest social media trends, hashtags, and topics of conversation
- Experience with paid media is a plus
- Experience with influencers is a plus
