Brass Lion Entertainment is seeking a Social Media & Community Manager to join a talented and diverse team currently working on a new, unannounced Action-RPG title.
The right candidate for this position will work closely with the Strategic Operations Director to develop Brass Lion’s online representation, manage interaction with the online community, establish strong connections with relevant communities across the world and promote the studio’s upcoming projects through various social channels.
Brass Lion Entertainment has employees based in New York City, Montréal, and remote locations across Canada and the United States.
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop and implement social media and community strategies and best practices across various social media channels (i.e. Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Youtube, etc)
- Follow social media trends and topics, be able to leverage them and respond to cultural impacts
- Grow followers and audience engagement by delivering fully integrated social programs across channels
- Help define and maintain the community management strategy, including methods for engagement, moderation policies, content building, and outreach initiatives.
- Recommend, provide insights on, and engage with content creators, influencers, and external brands to embrace organic and authentic relationships
- Communicate directly with users via social media channels including directing and responding to questions, engaging in conversation, and connecting with relevant people/organizations
- Set goals and report on social metrics, communicate metrics' significance and impact and determine appropriate improvements
Qualifications
- Experience managing social media and community platforms within the entertainment realm (media, games)
- Extensive knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and best practices
- Ability to engage and lead an online community with a globally oriented culture mindset and cross-cultural sensibility
- Organized, detail-oriented, with a strong work ethic and proactive problem-solving skills
- Strong creative mindset
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven skills in social media copywriting, punctuation, grammar, and emotes
- Proficient in using image software (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, Affinity)
- Previous experience building and/or moderating online communities
- Located and authorized for work in the US or Canada

- Strong knowledge of the games industry and its subtleties
- Public Speaking, Influential Marketing knowledge and Live Streaming
- Familiarity with video editing, streaming software and platforms
- Involved and familiar with various social communities (online, local)
