We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to lead, build and grow House Rush’s social media content creation and community engagement efforts. You are someone who lives on the For You Page, and loves creating unique, inspiring, and memorable content.
The ideal candidate is an ultra-creative content creator who has the intuition and daringness to make iconic content that people will talk about for days. This role will be pivotal in enhancing our brand presence, engaging with our community, and driving online and offline interactions.
You Will
- Creating entertaining and iconic content for House Rush that people want to share - pushing creative boundaries
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, followership and engagement across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Discord and other platforms.
- Grow and manage our online community as the face of the brand, fostering a positive and engaging environment.
- Plan and execute community events, both online and in-person, to engage and expand our audience.
- Analyze social media metrics and provide regular reports on performance, insights, industry trends, best practices, and areas for improvement.
- Be already based in Austin, TX (no relocation) and ability to work from our office in Mueller ~3 days per week.
- Flexibility to attend community events and activities outside of regular office hours as needed.
You Have
- Proven experience in social media content creation and community engagement.
- Unbounded creativity and a strong desire to try new, unproven, unconventional approaches
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with content creation tools (e.g.,Capcut, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
- Passion for real estate or gaming is not required, but highly desirable.

- Shipped industry-acclaimed creative work
- A growing/large social media following for your own personal brand
- Multiple pieces of content for your personal page or other brands that you’ve created that have gone viral
- A perspective on what it takes to repeatedly go viral today (it’s not just up to luck/the algo)
