We're looking for a talented and passionate Site Reliability Engineer to join Wildlife's Studio in a Box Engineering Department.
As a Site Reliability Engineer at the Studio in a Box Engineering Department you will focus on tasks, developing tools, and sharing knowledge to ensure the success of the games produced by our Studios in a Box. These are Studios spread out across the world that consist of talented game developers who have already built successful games and are working in partnership with Wildlife.
Your role includes participation in the development of the game when requested, developing tools to speed up game development across all teams, onboarding and helping maintain game infrastructure, developing docs and processes to help Game Tech Directors solve common issues themselves.

What you'll do
- Be part of a cross-functional team, directly contributing to feature development and maintenance
- Support one or more Studios in a Box in making their games
- Onboard directly and also develop docs and processes to help Game Tech Directors learn about our tech ecosystem by themselves
- Partner with colleagues to build and maintain tools and processes for speeding up game development across all teams
- Advocate for the user experience when communicating with product, design, and tech
- Be part of a highly-skilled quality chapter, owning initiatives to ensure the success of our Studios in a Box
What you'll need
- University degree in courses related to computing such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, and Systems Analysis and Development
- Broad/ Previous professional experience in software development
- Solid understanding of computer concepts: data structures, networking, concurrency, memory management and algorithm analysis
- Excellent knowledge of backend development
- Experience in building and maintaining large distributed systems is preferred
- Experience implementing with cloud development
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code is a plus
