The Challenge
We are searching for a dynamic Senior Workplace Manager to join our Facilities team in the UK. This role will be responsible for all aspects of Workplace across the T2 London office, delivering a 5-star service that consistently provides an amazing experience for all employees.
What You’ll Take On
- Lead London workplace team to deliver all relevant services to expected standards at all times
- Provide a positive and welcoming workplace environment for all employees, always seeking to improve standards and innovate workplace offering.
- Accountable for all office health and safety, ensuring business is compliant in all areas.
- Management of building hard services and operations, working with team to ensure delivery of PPM schedule and upkeep of all office equipment, resolving issues in compliance with proper work methods and regulations.
- Responsible for sourcing, arranging and managing relationships with relevant vendors across department.
- Delivery and upkeep of asset register, ensuring appropriate lifecycle of equipment is maintained.
- Budget accountability for London office.
- Manage relationship with building landlord
- Oversee London office security team, partnering with global security on ensuring a consistently safe working space is delivered for employees.
- Develop relationships across departments, understanding individual business objectives and supporting teams with all workplace-related requests.
- Proactively identify and recommend opportunities that focus on better methods to achieve objectives which may include process efficiencies, quality improvement, risk mitigation, cost improvements and any other relevant factors that influence workplace effectiveness.
- Manage ad-hoc projects and any associated duties as needed.
- Continually evaluate processes and procedures in order to ensure department is meeting needs and goals of the company.
- Ensure consistent coverage across Workplace department.
What You Bring
- 5+ years’ experience in similar Workplace Management role.
- Advanced PC skills, including MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint
- Experience on CAD or similar space management software is desired
- Experience working with a project management software
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Ability to interact with vendors and external contacts in a professional manner.
- Must have the ability to work flexibly in order to respond to changing priorities.
- Must have the ability to work overtime to accommodate maintenance schedules.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven team player
- Excellent collaborator, capable of working with others to find solutions to complex problems and leading teams towards shared goals with and without authority.
- Ability to prioritize multiple commitments and manage expectations for those priorities.
- Attention to detail, a strong sense of responsibility & accountability, and a drive to excellence
