Senior Web Frontend Engineer

Scopely is seeking a highly motivated Senior Web Frontend Engineer to join our Playgami team in Barcelona on a hybrid basis!

What You’ll Do

• Translate wireframe designs into best in class web interfaces, supporting the player experience in Playgami Console.
• Work closely with feature owners, the Playgami Product Design (UX/UI) team and other development teams to implement new features for our users and stakeholders.
• Participate in Technical Design Documents and code reviews to collaborate and share feedback with other team members.
• Write automated, high-quality tests and work with your team and the Product Manager to ensure the delivery of high quality software that works smoothly.
• Define and encourage use of best practices for frontend engineering throughout all development phases.
• Help build a strong engineering team and culture.

What We’re Looking For

• Team player with good communication skills, someone who is easy to work with
• Strong computer science and engineering fundamentals (data structures, design patterns, algorithms)
• High-quality and maintainable code writing
• Deep experience in frontend engineering and UI development, with a meaningful focus in the React ecosystem
• Strong understanding of web applications architecture and patterns, considering the distributed nature of such products
• Experience addressing cross-browser compatibility concerns
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Self motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing to a high functioning team environment
