Senior Voice Engineer

As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for a Voice Engineer to join the team and help us in crafting the high calibre games our fans have come to expect.
Responsibilities
- Onsite Senior Voice Engineer for voice recording & performance capture sessions
- Ensure the highest standard of recording is achieved throughout every session, and maintain this quality throughout multi-year development schedule
- Work effectively within a tight-knit onsite team, including voice & performance direction, mocap technician, and a VO producer
- Client facing for day-to-day recording sessions
- Set-up of recording sessions
- Micing up talent in between sessions/battery changes
- Collaborate closely with Voice Lead and rest of the audio team to record final quality voice assets for full game development cycle
- Inform the team of any impending issues audio equipment, or for upcoming sessions
- Learn and develop in-house proprietary tools for improved performance capture workflows
- Help establish, develop and maintain recording pipelines alongside the wider development team
- Help to mentor and train voice engineers in process, and best recording practices.
Requirements
- Profound knowledge of studio recording practices, specifically around the capture of the human voice.
- Attention to detail in recording and production workflows
- Expert knowledge of recording workflows within Reaper
- Profound knowledge of signal flow utilising reaper within a DANTE system
- Vast experience recording audio for a variety of medias (Film/TV/Short form/Game Dialogue)
- Experience mentoring junior recording engineers
Nice to haves
- Some understanding of game dialogue within the context of game development
- Experience engineering performance capture sessions
- Experience working with named actors and talent
- Creation of recording pipelines and workflows
- Basic knowledge in programming
