Senior Graphics Engineer, Unity Labs / Ingénieur graphique sénior, Unity Labs

Your day-to-day work will include writing software for a brand-new application Unity is developing. You will work closely with Technical Artists to research and implement new techniques and workflows related to scanning, content acquisition and general high-end rendering.

What you’ll be doing

• Research new techniques to speed up and improve data processing for content acquisition
• Implement and improve features in our content acquisition pipeline
• Communicating capabilities and limitations of high-end rendering technology to team members and project leadership
• Collaborating with graphics R&D teams across Unity to develop & apply real-time techniques in custom software applications

What we’re looking for

• Extensive experience with C/C++ and low-level graphics APIs (DirectX / OpenGL / equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of graphics pipelines and rendering techniques
• Strong initiative and ability to work independently
• Deep familiarity with the mathematics and algorithms involved in computer graphics and rendering and ability to select, apply, and modify rendering techniques to achieve high quality visuals and performance
• Experience in implementing computer science research papers in addition to knowledge on profiling, analyzing, and improving rendering performance, from low-level limitations to high-level architectural decisions

You might also have

• Experience working and communicating with Technical Artists and content creators
• Experience with content acquisition, photometric scan and/or photogrammetry.
