Senior UI Developer

What is your role?

As a Senior UI Developer for Eleventh Hour Games , you will be working closely with our UI/UX and game development teams to implement user-friendly, great-looking interfaces in Unity that convey system-heavy information in an easy-to-understand format.

This position will require a candidate with deep understanding of ARPGs, specifically adapting to Last Epoch, who understands the complexities of developing UI related to complex character building and game systems. This role is ideal for someone who craves ownership and has strong communication skills, both written and verbal. The role requires excellent communication skills and autonomy as you will be working with a fully remote team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Gaming-specific UI Development experience in a programming role
  
• Impeccable communication skills and autonomy as you will be working with a fully remote team
• Demonstrable command of C#
• Working experience with Unity Engine and Unity UI
• Strong knowledge of game engine systems and performance, as well as data structures and algorithms
• Proficiency in writing clean, readable, and efficient code

Pluses

• Passion for ARPGs or similar multiplayer titles
• Strong design sensibilities

  • min 32gb of ram
  • min 500gb free on a SSD
  • i7 7700k or better CPU
  • GTX 1660 or better video card
  • Windows 10/11

Responsibilities

• Collaborating closely with game developers, artists, and designers to fully comprehend and specify game features and system needs
• Leading the UI implementation of new game features
• Maintaining and improving elements of the existing game interface
• Finding or developing tools and processes to make the development process more efficient
• Coordinating with your team to define development timeframes, dependencies, and areas of risk to be considered in project planning
  
• Spearheading the process to improve Gamepad support and UI quality across different platforms
• Ownership of console certification process
