The Role:
As a Senior Experience Designer on EA SPORTS FC - LIVE you will work with a team of Experience Designers and cross functional partners devoted to creating meaningful and impactful innovation in gaming. You will use your creativity, passion and knowledge of modern design tools crafting meaningful experiences for highly engaged FC fans. You will work closely with other areas XD Leads, UI Director, Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, Game Design, Production, to create stunning visuals and meaningful experiences that surprise, delight, and inspire millions of gamers around the world to play. Key Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Lead UI designer, interaction designer, product designer, or similar role.
- Leverage and evolve an established FC UI Style Guide and Visual Identity when crafting visual and interactive solutions.
- Ability to deliver the highest quality visual output with technical prowess
- Mastery level skills in design, illustration, 3d, graphics, animation, or compositing
- Ability to conceptualize design briefs and create action plans for self and the team
- Facilitate and lead collaboration and creative alignment with cross-functional partners.
- Continuously seek trend-setting opportunities to support innovation.
- Overseeing designers and creating your own top-tier conceptual designs
- Organizing and briefing teammates, partners, etc., on concepts and tasks
- Mentor UI designers in process, teamwork, and design thinking.
- Advocate for design excellence, craftsmanship, accessibility, and usability.
- Expert knowledge of modern design tools such as Figma, Adobe Suite, Keyshot, C4D, etc.
- Collaborative mindset; ability to participate in a transparent and learning culture within the team.
- You understand the importance of providing and soliciting feedback in a graceful, constructive manner, with suggestions and solutions for improvement to both the process and the project.
- You are comfortable presenting and rationalizing design strategy and decisions to diverse audiences, using these opportunities to educate and promote.
- You have strong written and verbal communication.
- You are passionate about design and you know when to slow down and when to speed up.
- You are empathetic and able to inspire optimism and positivity within your team.
- You are comfortable working with varying levels of the organization and collaborating with team leaders across the franchise.
- Enjoy collaboration and appreciate the exchange of ideas and concepts.
