Purpose of position:

As the Sr. Training and Learning Specialist, with the deep understanding of the studio’s mission and business objectives, you are the core engine of all the training and learning strategy and activities. You will be responsible for developing rich and highly relevant training curriculum (covering job skills, soft skills, management skills, new employee orientation), delivering excellent learning experiences. In the mean time you will be accountable for cultivating the learning and sharing environment, supporting the sustainable development of our learning communities.

Our diversified and fun training curriculum includes: sexy code programming training, VFX level-up, technical art boot camp, unlock your mind Diversity and Inclusion workshop, OKR workshop etc. We also have very active autonomous learning communities like Game and Level Design Show & Tell, Tech Enlightening Talk, Toastmasters Club, etc.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Work together with the studio management and key stakeholders to define the studio’s expertise road map, identify the competency gap, and create training and learning plans to level up the studio’s expertise.
  2. Assess training needs, develop and deliver training programs against required timelines.
  3. Develop trainer resources (internal and external) to enrich and evolve the training curriculum.
  4. Oversee the creation and management of all training materials
  5. Measure, analyze and improve the training ROI.
  6. Nourish the learning and sharing culture in the studio, provide guidance and support to the learning communities.
  7. Stay curious and open to new learning tools, approaches, introduce those relevant to evolve the training delivery.
  8. Handle related training and learning administration.

Requirements

  1. 5+ years working experience in HR or game production.
  2. 3+ years’ experience in training and learning management in a multi-cultural, knowledge-based organization.
  3. Strong business partnering mindset. Prove ability in mastering the needs and providing solutions.
  4. Proven ability of developing strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders including corporate management, business managers, and other HR function teams.
  5. Proven ability of collaborating and developing knowledge-based and creative teams/employees.
  6. Passionate and open minded to new training and learning theory, methodology, and tools.
  7. Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese.熟练的中英文沟通能力
  8. Strong ability in project management with a focus on quality.
