Senior Technical Project Manager

NCSOFT West is looking for a talented Senior Technical Project Manager to work closely with various teams and stakeholders within the Platform team. A successful candidate is capable of understanding both business and technical issues.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Provide motivation, and direction to ensure that project goals, objectives, milestones, and deliverables are achieved.
• Gathering requirements for new projects from project stakeholders.
• Gather estimates from resources and create project initiation documentation (project charter, scope document, requirements document, work breakdown structure).
• Identify, track, manage, and resolve project issues.
• Ensure that solutions are of acceptable quality.
• Follow change management process to capture change requests, communicate impact, request stakeholder decisions, and execute changes if applicable.
• Work with other project managers to plan effective resource utilization.
• Coordinate, track, and manage the activities of project resources to ensure that project tasks are completed on time, within scope, and at acceptable quality.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

• 7+ years managing software engineering projects utilizing formal project management techniques and tools
• Strong understanding of software development processes, software development life cycles, project management methodologies, and performance management
• Extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum) and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques.
• Demonstrated experience in managing software engineering project deliverables (such as project charter, project schedules, financials, and status reports), issue and risk management and bringing projects to successful completion within cost and time constraints.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Experience managing projects across different technologies, including production support as well as new development

This position is based out of our Orange County, CA office. Due to COVID-19 we have temporarily transitioned to a work from home model, but anticipate returning to the office in the coming months on a hybrid basis.
