Our Incubation Team focuses on prototyping new ideas, new game concepts, new franchises, and the incubation of new studios with the ambitious vision to create genre defining games for the next generation of players. This is one of those unique opportunities that only happen once in a lifetime.
The Role
We are looking for a Senior Tools and Pipeline Tech Artist, to join a character-driven action game in its incubation. The ideal candidate is skilled and experienced in collaborating with other disciplines such as animators, artists, and other tech artists to create solutions to every day production problems. You will be helping to establish our pipeline from the ground up for a new IP, which means building production tools, developing efficient and intuitive workflows, and advocating best practices.

What You Will Do:
- Build out tools to support our new art pipeline.
- Develop tools and systems across departments and DCC's throughout production.
- Create tools that increase efficiency and reduce repetition for animators and modelers.
- Automate and optimize inefficient workflows and build systems that streamline asset creation.
- Address technical roadblocks as they arise.
- Provide feedback on workflow and tools for the team at large.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience as a Technical Artist working on tools.
- Experience developing pipeline tools on at least 1 shipped game.
- Fluent in scripting (Python/Mel/MAX Script).
- Expert knowledge in a few 2D and 3D DCC's.
Bonus Points:
- Experience shipping with Unreal Engine.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate between technical and artistic language.
- Experience with C++.
