Senior Technical Artist, Solutions

The opportunity

The Accelerate Solutions team is growing a diverse team of passionate 3D Artists with a variety of attributes as we offer services ranging from consultation, and content creation all the way up to full project development. We care deeply about helping developers be able to make apps that can truly run in the real world. In joining the team, you’ll be helping to move customers forward toward their projects. You can communicate needs, develop pipelines, collaborate on the design, scope the creation time, and champion the most effective method to meet customer needs in a timely manner.

At Accelerate Solutions you will help make content for a range of formats including VR, AR, Tablet, Mobile, Console, PC, Metaverse, and yet-to-be-announced formats!

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Art teams to push Unity engine to its limits in achieving the best real-time artwork.
• Be a force-multiplier to the Art team, Open doors, and allow Artists to do more, better and quicker.
• Test, prototype, and develop art pipelines using a range of software, hardware, scripting, and procedural systems.

Requirements

• A fluent familiarity of developing with Unity and the process & pipelines involved in integrating artwork.
• Knowledge of optimization, performance analysis, and memory management techniques for realtime projects.
• Deep understanding of real-time art production and techniques
• Solid understanding of one or more 3D creation suites (Maya, Blender, etc)

Bonus points

• A passion and knowledge of games and VFX culture.
• Knowledge of photography, photometry &/or photogrammetry.
• Confidence to meet, present and collaborate with internal and external customers.
