Klang is looking for a Senior Systems Designer (f/m/d) who sees that the potential of games goes well beyond just providing fun distractions. You will imagine, design, implement, and improve systems that bring an engaging virtual world to life. One of your key tasks will be to create accessible, fun gameplay systems, going hand in hand with the simulation aspect of SEED, as well as improving the design content implementation pipeline.

Requirements
What you will do:
- Design, implement and iterate systems, that are approachable, accessible and promote collaboration across multiple platforms
- Create and improve the ways in which systems work together to create emergent gameplay
- Design tools, that empower players to engage in player driven economy and content
- Champion tight prototype and validation loops
- Create and maintain design documentation
- Master the art of balancing a systemic, persistent, player driven MMO simulation
- Implement and improve developer tools to make the designers’ lives easier
- Work self-organized and take ownership of different system tracks
- Communicate openly and effectively with other departments
- Share knowledge with other colleagues
Who we think will be a great fit:
- 4+ years of experience as a systems designer
- Worked on at least 1 complex system within a medium to big scoped game
- Strong knowledge of multiplayer and simulation games and their player motivations
- Experience in creating player driven economies and player created content systems
- Strong knowledge of unity
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English (office language is English)
- Thriving working in an agile environment
Bonus:
- Knowledge of AI systems design (preferably utility AI)
- Experience in user research driven validation
- Experience with leadership and mentoring
