Senior System Designer

Description

Sciplay is looking for a talented Senior Systems Designer to help create new experiences for Goldfish Casino Slots.

As a Senior Systems Designer, you’ll work with the product and live ops teams to ensure the game systems and game content work hand in hand. You will dig deep into progression systems, a variety of events, and in game features to ensure it all ties together.

Key Responsibilities

SciPlay is a leading developer and publisher of digital games on mobile and web platforms, providing highly entertaining free-to-play games that millions of people play every day for their authenticity, engagement and fun.

SciPlay currently offers nine core games, including social casino games Jackpot Party Casino, Gold Fish Casino Slots, Hot Shot Casino and Quick Hit Slots, and casual games MONOPOLY Slots, Bingo Showdown, 88 Fortunes Slots, Backgammon Live, and Solitaire Pet Adventure with offices all over the world!

Responsibilities:

· Design Core Systems for features and live-ops in Goldfish Casino.

· Develop clear, concise, and thorough product specification documents for features and systems that uphold the game’s design pillars and drive the desired player behaviors.

· Provide team members with direction on how content should be created, tuned, and live operated within these systems.

· Work with our ART/UX team to find elegant ways to present players with sophisticated systems.

· Work with our product team to design A/B tests to optimize performance of our features and economy.

· Analyze game performance to identify and measure gaps and opportunities to improve the game.

· Adapt to technical and production constraints & participate in finding solutions.

· Audit and mentor other designers and product managers in the art of Game Systems Design.

Key Attributes:

· A holistic view of game systems and the downstream effects of all design decisions throughout both the product and player lifecycle.

· A firm understanding of fundamental design principles, metagame systems, game economies, and player psychology.

· Affable and effective written and verbal communication paired with the ability to articulate the nuances of abstract concepts and how they apply to complex, interrelated systems.

· Excellent grasp of standard mathematics, statistics, and probability as it pertains to game design and game balance.

· Extensive knowledge of games and live operations that enables you to know what good looks like and build efficient design processes, workflows, and tooling.

· A positive and hard-working demeanor with the ability to be collaborative in a team environment

Requirements

Requirements:

· A minimum of 7 years’ experience in the mobile game industry with at least 4 years working on game systems.

· Excellent Excel and data analysis skills.
