Job Summary:
Senior System Administrator for the Asset Management team to help manage global client-side technologies.
Requirements
Key Deliverables:
- Provide second- and third-line support for Asset Management team
- Monitor task and ticket queues for the Asset Management team
- Work with Group Services Director to implement technical projects
- Liaise with Service desk teams and provide tools to assist with OS deployment, software distribution, patching, device control.
- Provide customer service for other internal IT teams.
- Assist teams with achieving their objectives using Asset Management tools.
- Packaging and deployment of corporate applications, as well as the management of the global software repository
- Participate in the conception, design, and implementation of leading-edge client-side security, tools, management technologies, and processes
- Create and maintain documentation.
- Oversee regular conference calls with project stakeholders
Key Stakeholders:

Knowledge & Experience:
Essential:
- MS Endpoint Manager/SCCM
- MS InTune
- Extensive knowledge of software packaging and distribution
- Supporting endpoint security tools including antivirus, full-disk encryption, device control, and mobile device management
- Deploying and supporting of Windows operating systems, and provisioning workstations with SCCM Task Sequences
- PowerShell scripting and tasks MDM (iOS and Android devices)
- Data security solutions including BitLocker & FileVault
- Providing custom hardware and software inventory reports
Desirable:
- Defining security requirements and compliance reporting
- Familiarity with the current Windows Servicing Model
- Familiarity with MacOS
- Experience of the following technologies:
- Snow - Software Asset Management
- BeyondTrust – Privilege Management
- Jamf - macOS management
- MS Autopilot Atlassian tools including JIRA and Confluence MS Defender for Endpoints
- MS GPO and GPP
Competencies, Skills & Attributes:
Essential:
- Self-motivated team player with great attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise workload
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of dealing with technical and non-technical staff
- Ability to analyse, solve problems, and work well under pressure
- Experience working independently and without direct supervision
- Willing to work outside standard business hours
