As a Senior Sound Designer, you’ll be work closely with the sound designers, game producers, and designers to bring their characters, creatures, and environments to life. Our Sound Designers are comfortable collaborating with various teams to build magical abilities, creatures, UI, VO and environmental audio that compliment and meld seamlessly with gameplay. In addition, each of our Sound Designers record and create original content while using our proprietary game tools to integrate their work into the final product -- ensuring that phenomenal concepts make the transition from the microphone to the game on the shelves.
Minimum Requirements
Experience
- Contribute to all aspects of sound design, implementation and post-production
- Experience in recording, editing, crafting/designing outstanding sound assets for video games including magical spells, creatures, foley, voice over and environmental audio
- Experience with live recording sessions, both in the studio and in the field
- Experience designing and conforming sound-to-picture
- Experience working with both commercial and proprietary audio, and implementation tools on multiple platforms and workstations
- Experience implementing game audio via Audiokinetic Wwise
Knowledge & Skills
- Fluent in DAW of choice (e.g. Reaper, Pro Tools, Nuendo, etc.)
- Knowledge of audio signal processing, mixing, compression, filters, reverbs etc, specifically related to game sounds and voiceover
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, Google Suite and JIRA
- Excellent organization and communication skills

Pluses
- Previous experience with version control software (SVN)
- Experience implementing sounds on multiple platforms (PC, Mobile)
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese
- Experience with multiplayer games

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $80,800.00 - $149,400.00 Annual. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
