Role Overview
- We’re actively hiring seasoned Unity developers for multiple positions across Design Home and new and unannounced titles. The positions are based in Toronto working with the team in Toronto and San Francisco.
- We are looking for someone that is driven by creating great game experiences and is able to apply their passion and skill toward delivering on high quality games. Responsibilities
- Own design and implementation of large systems, pipelines and tools
- Partner with Art, Design and QA to help define and iterate on features
- Identify and drive improvements to the code base
- Plan against and tackle new challenges that arise during development
- Contribute to and follow best practice and optimisation guidelines
- Participate in sprint planning and task estimation
Requirements
- 5+ years of profession experience with 2+ years of recent experience with Unity
- Expertise with OOP, design patterns, algorithms, and data structures
- Track record of successfully adopting new technologies
- Ability to work well as a senior member of a collaborative development team
- Excellent problem-solving skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks
- Passionate about building games that will be played by millions around the world
- Computer Science degree or equivalent experience
Nice To Haves
- Experience with mobile development (iOS/Android)
- Experience calling REST API back end services
- Experience with prototyping
- Experience with 3D/Shaders/OpenGL
